PReSafe Technologies is led by our founder, Robert V. Jones, CISSP, a technology executive recognized for advancing operational resilience across industries.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame (BSEE) and the NYU Tandon School of Engineering (MSEE), Mr. Jones blends deep technical discipline with strategic foresight shaped by executive education at Harvard University and the Yale School of Management.
Throughout his career, he has applied leading-edge innovation in roles of increasing responsibility at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, Merck & Co., Marsh & McLennan, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) — consistently bridging engineering excellence with business outcomes.
From 2021–2025, Mr. Jones served as President of the NYU Tandon School of Engineering Polytechnic Alumni Association (PAA), representing more than 65,000 graduates worldwide. In 2025, he continued his longstanding service to the university when he was appointed to the Board of the New York University Alumni Association (NYUAA), representing 700,000+ alumni worldwide.
In recognition of his leadership, Mr. Jones received the NYUAA Meritorious Service Award and the NYU Tandon PAA Dedicated Alumni Award for outstanding and sustained contributions to the global alumni community.
Mr. Jones also served as Chairperson of the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Aviation Cybersecurity Programming Committee from 2020–2023, and he continues service as an Advisory Board Member for the Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL) in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Earlier in his entrepreneurial journey, he was honored as the 2013 Small Business Member of the Year by the Government Technology & Services Coalition (GTSC), recognizing excellence and contributions to the national security and federal contracting community — an award earned by PReSafe Technologies.
With decades of practical leadership and industry-recognized credentials through (ISC)², Mr. Jones integrates cybersecurity, engineering, and business acumen to help organizations build resilience by design.
